Many of the properties and performance parameters required in development can only be tested on a prototype. By producing prototypes in time, errors can be avoided in later processes and haptic tests can be carried out. Prototypes also provide information about the interaction of different materials.
The use of prototypes allows extensive realistic tests to be carried out. For example, they are used to test loads in the real environment and with actual processes. Together with the client, critical parameters such as accuracy of fit, interaction of packaging and accessories, behaviour on load carriers, safety and transport criteria and all other logistical processes are tested and the results are fed back into product development.
